Review content:
Fun for children of a wide age range. There is a special room for the very young, which stays quieter than the other areas--and safer from running, older kids. The water room is always a big hit with my daughter, as is the art room. The handouts for parents are very informative, and although I've never had a chance to take one of the classes they offer, they sound good--such as a class on how young children make art, and how to nurture the creative process in your child. My main dislike about Habitot is that it's in downtown Berkeley, and parking is difficult and/or expensive. If you drive, and park at the nearby convenient parking garage, one parent with one child can easily spend $20 for the outing if you give in to the temptation of buying some of the lovely toys--which are displayed prominently just as you enter the place! Or a snack or two.
