Review content:
I have a puppy who was a stray. I called and visited the H.S.A.H. when he was 8 weeks old. I had had him for two weeks. at first the DR. and her assistant seemed unfriendly, and didn't include me in what they were doing with my pup, sort of rushing around doing tests and giving medicine. i was really displeased at the 20 plus dollar ear cleaning charge that inolved only a cotton ball with some solution on it that the majority of ended up on the floor. I was strongly considering finding a nother vet. but decided to go to the follow up visit. the experience was the complete opposite!! the staff were friendly comunicated well, and genuinely seemed to enjoy seeing my puppy. the same on the third visit. they are kind commited people and i believe the first visit was tense because they believed my puppy to be very ill, (parvo symptoms) and they may have been conserned i was an irresponsable pet owner. i had waited for the 8 week mark in age to bring him in, he could have gone in as soon as i got him. i was upset about the first bill and what seemed like add ons, but i think they were trying to do as much for him as they possibly could, worried i may not bring him back. since then, they have been willing to work with me on payments and again they are very kind people. i think the animals health is their number one priority.which is what I want in my vet.
