I want you to know that going to a busy bar can be a little trying. Yes it gets hot, yes it may take a little while to get a drink. I read all these reviews on here and it breaks my heart that people are so impatient. Legends has been a landmark in Los Angeles/Long Beach since 1979. When you go in there and are watching a game with almost three hundred other people, you can almost expect certain things. It isn't a fine dining restaurant here folks, it's a SPORTS BAR! A busy one at that. When I go to a sporting event, (Laker/Dodger/King game) I know there are going to be crowds and long lines... Par for the course. I just wish people would keep in mind that Legends has and always will be about atmosphere. Anyone who has ever been to a sporting event during the playoffs knows that electricity that flows through the place. That's why Legends is what it is. It's a place local southern Californians can congregate and feel a sense of camaraderie. The oohs and aahs are enough to keep me coming back again and again. If it doesn't work out for you the first time, try it again. I promise you'll change your mind. The place wouldn't have made since 1979 if it weren't doing something right. The unfortunate fact remains that people will always be quicker to gripe than they will be to compliment anything. That said, I'll see you all down at the GREATEST sports bar in Los Angeles! Pros: The next best thing aside from actually being at the big game... Cons: Gets a little cramped, but then again, so do the stadiums/arenas we all love so much!
