Review content:
I found these people in the yellow pages. I thought "Pet Chateau" sounds really nice. However, when you arrive at the "Chateau", you quickly see the opposite. The building is old and rundown. We were new to the area, so I was desperate to have my dog groomed. I dropped my dog off. When I came back at the specified time, no one was at the desk. So I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. Someone finally came out after I called in the back. She told me that my dog wasn't ready. It had been 4 hours!!! Then I heard my dog "yelp", and then cry. I heard the groomer yell at my dog. Then I heard my dog cry again. (This is not just a whine. This is the type of cry she has when she is hurt).
I demanded that they bring her out immediately. When they did, my dog's leg was bleeding. Also, they had cut ALL of her hair off. I was growing her hair out and specifically asked them to just trim her hair. I didn't even recognize my dog. Later I discovered another cut on her body when we got home.
I spoke to the owner. She had no sympathy. She only told me to bring my dog back and she would try to correct the bad grooming. She didn't seem to care that my dog was bleeding, or that her employee yelled at my dog.
