Amazing food - baba ghanoush, strombolis (veggies in puff pastry), kebobs - all perfectly cooked in the wood fired oven. Best MIddleEastern food in Portland in this price range. So far I avoid only the hummus (dull) and the spanikopita (not enough filling). This is all marred by a confusing setup (order food cafeteria style, then have wait staff for drinks) and growing pains. Last time I was there they were out of greek salad?!? Clearly run by someone who cares about food and knows how to cook, but my bet says it's their first restaurant. Here's hoping they work out the kinks because I am dreaming about the kubideh (ground beek sausage) with tzatziki..... Pros: Delicious food; great prices Cons: Service confusion
