Review content:
I brought my car here in December 2010 for a brake job. I was told that I needed a new wheel bearing. The manager had seen the car seat in the back and commented on the safety of my kids. I was quoted $490 for the part. When I commented on the price I was told it was so much lower than going to a dealership and was told "welcome to the joys of owning a foriegn car". When I picked up the car I immediately noticed warning lights. When I took it back the next day they were open, I was told that they "didn't do that". Now that they had my money they told me it was a software reset issue and they didn't have my cars software. That was it. Sent me on my way to find a place that had it...not their problem anymore. Assured me that it was only a reset and the car was working fine. When I was able to get the car into a dealership, they told me that I needed a new bearing on the same side! Once they got the part off, the dealership informed me that they felt it was THE ORIGINAL PART! It was rusted and corroded on! Not only that, Tuffy charged me $620 out the door. The dealership....$570. With a whole lot of lies and rudeness in between from the manager of Tuffy. I am in the process of filing a complaint of fraud to the State of Michigan.
