Businiess name:  Pirates Dinner Adventure
Review by:  Guest
Review content:
Situation: 4 adults and 7 children, ages 7-10yo for my 10yo son's birthday Tips Arrive at least 1-1/2 hours early to secure better seating near the stage and nab tables and chairs in ""waiting area"" for 1-1/2 hour wait; ask for purple or orange sections, as center of stage is easier seen; if tip wasn't added to your charge, recommended amount is $3/children and $5/adults; as pirate walks around greeting guests, inform of any birthdays in your party - he may invite person to participate in the show; if possible, purchase tickets online - cheaper than at the door. Positives: Kid-friendly show that made us adults chuckle; for extra $20 we got ""Cake Special"" of announcing son's birthday at beginning of the show and cake that was supposed to feed 6-8 people, but really fed about 12; food options were roast chicken or pork with bbq sauce or vegetable lasagna - meat options came with mashed potatoes and broccoli (as advertised), followed up with apple cobbler and ice cream; food was actually quite delicious for it being cooked in large quantities; everyone in our party got to participate in the show at various times (all the kids were chosen to be soldiers); staff (especially Alexa in the blue section) was friendly, prompt, efficient and got our all orders correct, even offering to-go boxes for leftover meals and cake. Negatives: While in noshing on free appetizers in waiting area, one small soda costs $5 w/NO refills and a large one in a souvenir glass is $10 w/free refills; water is free. My husband and I bought the souvenir glass for the free refills during a long wait, but found it wasn't necessary because we really weren't that thirsty before actual show and were distracted by the pre-show activities.
