OK, I rented a Budget moving truck from this place last week. I returned the truck the same evening and filled it up with gas at a gas station less than a mile from the location. There wasn't a closer gas station. I discovered that they charged me an additional $14 for gas, plus a $10 refueling fee!
Also, they totally ripped me off on mileage. I moved only 1 block away from my old place, and then went and picked up my daughter's things from her apartment 5 miles away, and they charged me 47 miles used! How is it that two trips one block away and one round-trip of 10 miles, plus the 10 mile round trip to the rental location equals 47 miles????
I called them and they said all they would refund was the $10 refueling fee. So ... I'm calling my bank to have the charge disputed and charged back to them!
Finally, I never received a final invoice, which should have been relatively easy given that I made the reservation online and got a confirmation online. How hard would it have been to email me a final receipt???
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR MOVING TRUCK RENTALS!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND GIVEN THE CHANCE!!!
