Businiess name:  Central Utah Food Sharing

Review content:
Central Utah Food Sharing is Sevier County's "food bank." When we needed help making ends meet, the Food Bank was there to help us keep our children healthy and well fed. And, even when we haven't needed help, it has been an on-going comfort knowing that the Food Bank was there, as a safety net for us, just in case. There is information on the food bank at their web site on the Richfield Mall site here: http://richfieldmall.com/foodbank . It is not a government agency but a non-profit. They will ask you for some basic information about your family, and you should probably bring in local bill or something with your address on it, as well as ID for your family members, if you have it. Don't be afraid, take heart and just go and talk to them. They are open Mondays & Wednesdays at 12 noon to 3 o'clock, except on holidays. It is impressive how well Central Utah Food Sharing conducts their operations. Not only are they extremely efficient, but there is no condescension towards the needy -- sadly, a common thing in many agencies -- but rather a positive, helpful attitude toward service that is as refreshing as it is comforting to those in need. The staff of Central Utah Food Sharing is the real deal. They are a model of how a service agency should be run. I heartily endorse their needed, worthwhile, and successful efforts. God bless them! And if you aren't in need, the next time a food drive comes around, be sure to donate generously. It appears they receive hardly any government support at all,. which is a real shame. And if you have the means, please consider a donation to help support their worthwhile operations.
