A friend from Coronado recommended H & M fishing. We fished the 1/2 day trip in the afternoon. It was a Thursday and it was perfect. The boat was not overly crowded as it sounds like it may be on the weekend. The two young crew staff pretty much taught me everything that they could to catch a fish. One of the crew even caught fish and let me reel it in. The captain drove us way out to sea and everyone around us was catching alot of rock fish. As soon as the fishing slowed, the captain moved the boat. And everyone continued catching fish. I caught a very large rock fish. I never catch fish, so I was very happy with that one. My two sons (more experienced fishermen) were catching alot off those rock fish. My husband caught nothing, but he wasn't too into it.
