Review content:
Yeah, the ambiance is a tad cheesy. Well check the website out, it is also cheesy. I went to Cafe Amore on 04/22/09. The food-it's OK. I could taste the alcohol still in my alfredo sauce. My friend had the salad with duck breast. She really enjoyed it. I mainly picked this place because it's on the Passport Card. When payment time came, I placed my credit card and Passport Card out. The waitress came back and asked how I wanted the payment split. I had to explain to her that one card is an actual credit card and the other is a Passport Unlimited Card. She left and came back a few minutes later and said they do not accept the Passport for lunch. I was pretty sure they did, but did not want to make a scene in front of my friend. When I returned to the office, I logged onto the Passport website, sure enough it shows that they do accept the Passport for lunch. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak with Sean, the manager and owner. I left a message with a server and have yet to hear back from Sean. I also tried to email him from two different email accounts and both times the email was undeliverable.
