Review content:
Being a former employee knowing the ins & outs of the system, Sears is a one of the best values in the area! Ken Huggins is the new manager there and he does everything for the customer. Oil changes are a bit more pricey than their competitors ($28.17 inc. Tax) but they use quality oil, purolator filters, and do a complete under-car check for major issues. Technician quality is fantastic at this location. As of my move (Nov '07) all upper level techs had 15+ years in the industry and most had several ASE certifications. All lower level techs have passed regular training.
Saturday mornings have a tendency to see backups, and even a simple battery or oil change can push 1.5 hours + wait. Brakes are best brought in on a weekday morning, tires can be done usually in <1 hour with a lifetime balance warranty. **IMPORTANT**-- Sears Price Matches! Find the lowest price you can on tires and bring it in. They will match the price and beat it by 10% of the difference. If you're looking for an honest salesman, ask for Mike Miano or Neal Christian. These gentlemen are of outstanding character and are people you can trust your money to. Should you talk to either of them, tell them Joey sent you and watch them get wide eyed!
Pros: Good value, Competent Technicians, Honest Salesmen, Price Matching!, Awesome Hours
Cons: Long wait on weekends and around 5:00 weekdays
