The only con I could even think of is something the garden needs for its local plants, the Texas heat. I love this place, I go once a year in the Spring. I keep wanting to go to the garden events like Shakespeare in the Park and others, but I always forget. They sound great, and I will try not to miss the next event. The gardens are in various sections and you can see a lot of foliage. There are also indoor gardens to meet various climates so you can become familiar with plants not so native to TX. My favorite part is the Garden for the Blind (although I think it goes by another name), as its full of scented plants that you can sniff away. And it's pretty cheap to get into. I believe its half price for students (which I am, so it helps), which makes it cheaper. Pros: Variety of plants, ease of path, price Cons: nothing
