Review content:
I was foolish enough to bring my car in for a repair, and I agreed to commit to a 150 diagnosis fee if I decided not to get it repaired there. Once they had me on the line with this fee, they attempted to charge me 680 dollars for the repair. I called a mechanic who worked on my type of car and was informed that the repair should cost no more than 450 dollars at a dealership, so I called a number of other dealerships in the area, all of whom quoted me a flat repair rate (something this dealership refused to do) and said they would do the repair for under 475. Finally, after repeated phone calls, Hendrick agreed to do the repair for under 500 dollars. When I got the car back, it was making noises that it wasn't making before. I took the car back, but everybody in the service department insisted that it could only be a "coincidence" which they were not responsible for. If you make the mistake of taking your car into Hendrick's service shop, I'd advise you to call other dealerships and find out their prices to avoid being cheated out of hundreds of dollars. Don't expect anything but a sloppy repair, either.
