Took my son's 98 Sporster in to trade for a 99 wide glide. I saw advertised for $7100. The bike they had for sale was leaking oil on the floor, The sales man told me they would fix it by drilling out the hole and retapeing it and installing a larger drain plug. (what 1 hrs labor? No $1000.00. And they would have to add that to the cost of the bike). Then they said they would give me (drum roll please) $1000.00 for my trade in. and the difference for the bike would be $7100.00. I stood up shook his hand thanked him and walked out. I will never return agian.
