Village Inn Pizza Parlor

Review content:
There was a time when there were almost no real restaurants in our town of Taylorsville. You had to drive miles to find anything but burgers. Then there was the pizza parlor and it offered decent pizzas, good service, and other Italian foods as well. It became very popular. People came in for lunch. The Village had specials and took care of its regulars. Now with the advent of Walmart and the new fast food places on Highway 16, the Village is no longer the center of things. Liledoun Road is a back street. The businesses around the Village are closing one by one as they buckle under the competition from you know what-mart. It's kind of sad to see it happen but we're supposed to applaud it as progress. Village still serves good pizza - but for how long?
