We were in the area a couple of month ago and were looking for something that's a little different from where we usually eat when we're in the area. Based on the reviews for this restaurant we gave it a try and I have to say that it was probably the worst experience we have ever had. We went on a Tuesday evening and got there at about 6:30pm. Upon arrival we saw that the parking lot was nearly empty and when we went inside they were hardly busy. There were 10 of us and we were seated promptly but that's about all the positive things that I can say. Our waiter looked and acted like he had never waited a table before in his life. He forgot about half of the drinks, bring the wrong ones out or giving the wrong drinks to the wrong people. We requested a side of ranch to go with our hush puppies at least 5 different times and never did get it. The fun didn't stop with the waiter as this place has to have the worst possible cooks or their cooks didn't show up and another staffer was stuck running the line. I ordered the Shrimp and Ribeye. Now before anyone says anything, I realize that this is a seafood place but if you can't cook a steak even remotely close to the desired temp, don't offer it. Anyways I ordered my steak medium thinking that it could be slightly underdone or overdone and still be good. What I got was a burnt, well done piece of shoe leather. The guy sitting next to me ordered the same thing and had the same issue...burnt. We each took a bite, said no thanks and sent it back. 5 minutes later new steaks came out and this time they literally spent 30 seconds cooking on each side. They still had raw spots on top, were purple and even still a little cold in the middle. By this time our shrimp and fries were already long gone and the rest of our group had managed to choke down their food without complaining so we both decided to just ask for our refund and leave hungry. Never, ever again will I step foot in this place or recommend it.
