My finance & I went to The Uptown Restaurant for the "parents meeting for the first time". We were both nervous about the meeting. We wanted a place that was not boring and dull (incase they did not hit it off). I can say (with having been to tons of restaurants in NYC) that the service, food, ambience, and overall "good vibe" from Uptown made this a great night. The live jazz band, delicious entrees, attentive staff and martinis make it obvious why this place is always packed. Everyone at dinner was very impressed and you will see both families again!!!
