Review content:
I visited this museum with some co-workers and we spent the better part of the day wandering through the exhibits. They had a gut-wrenching exhibit on lynching. It was hard to view but it is a part of our history we can't forget. They also had a really interesting exhibit on the role of African Americans in the history of Detroit, well worth the price of admission. They have a large area with plenty for the kids to do also. The main lobby is really breathtaking and the acoustics are creepy. You can hear a whisper from one end of the room to the other. Visit this museum, you will learn a lot.
