Review content:
The lighting inside the gym may give a low-budget elementary school feel to Montavilla, but it's a great facility nonetheless. Indoor park, for younger kids, is open four times a week, from 10:30 to 12:00. They have a big trampoline, tons of little cars and other little tikes toys, a couple of slides on big gym mats, and basketball. When gymnastics classes aren't meeting, your kids can use all of the tumbling equipment in the room next to the gym (usually on Fridays?). They have a little room that can be used for birthdays, too, when you rent the gym for a playtime birthday party. The playtime set-up and tear-down is a communal effort. All for only 50 cents per kid! It's a great winter resource. Montavilla also has a great outdoor playground, a wading pool that's open in the summer, and a pool facility for swimming lessons, with a free open swim usually in the afternoon. There are a ton of classes available and a preschool with a pretty good reputation at reasonable prices.
