Come check out apartments for rent at the ST. George Residence.
If want to live in downtown Santa Cruz. What's not to love.
They have an awesome new management company running things. One of the reasons why I chose to live here is location, location, location because the St. George is conveniently situated in downtown SC where everything I need (and didn't realize I needed) is just a walk away.
Santa Cruz city loves to give out parking tickets, But the ST. George has an underground parking garage. You can walk to the beach, Go to the Skateboard park. Traders Joes is next door. Restaurants, Movie theater, clothing stores all right there. If you don't have a car, the Santa Cruz bus station is a few blocks away. You can go any where. University of Santa Cruz is very close by and many of the students live in the building.
These residences are mostly all studio apartments. The manager is friendly and helpful and communicating with him made me look forward to taking up residence here. Depending on where your apartment is facing (window-wise), you can have a view of the courtyard (flower garden), Pacific Ave (people watching) or Front St (parking structure!). Guess which view I have?
As far as amenities, there is a gym, a charming outdoor patio, a courtyard with beautiful flowers, laundry room and a small library. The studios come furnished which is a plus (you have the option of bringing in your own tv or bed if you don't want them to provide them for you). Everyone is so nice here.
