Review content:
I had a very dissapointing experience at the spa. I went in for a deep tissue massage. I have had deep tissue massages from many therapists and this was the weakest I have had. Even after requesting more pressure, the therapist would use pressure for a few minutes, then stop. A deep tissue massage was 30.00 more than a Swedish massage. I am happy to pay the difference if their actually IS a difference but in this case there was not. Further, the locker room was dirty with hair on the floor and mud in the lockers. Altough they had tea bags out in the waiting area, they had no hot water available. It was a waste of money and very dissappointing experience.
Reading Kim's response and other spa comments frustrate me even further. First, I came for a deep tissue massage. Regardless of the cost, that is what I ask for and did not get. The staff is short, rude and unapproachable. No one even asked if my service was accecptable and I did not feel comfortable expressing this.
Obviously, I saw the hot water thermos. It was bone dry. That's my point.
True, winter brings mud, but hair on the floor? Gross. Clean it up.
Finally, I truly believe spa management spends their time writing false positive reviews for themselves. This is by far the poorest spa experience I've had in Boulder, Colorado, and nationally. I cannot imagine that many REAL people (excluding the owner, employees, and family) would have have positive things to say about this place.
