Review content:
The Carpenter's Shelter is a local provider of services to the homeless. They promote lifelong self-reliance, and service homeless children, families and adults. They have numerous volunteer opportunities for both special events and regularly scheduled shifts. Each year they hold a very nice day-time fundraiser, the Carpenter’s Cookoff, a fun event to either attend or help out at. At the Carpenter’s Cookoff local restaurants cook up special food (it used to be a Chili cook off) for guests to sample. Local musicians are thereto keep the entertainment hopping.
