Review content:
I had some hail damage on one of my ac units and the other just does not work. I have been calling HVAC contractors to come out to give a quote to fix the one and replace the other. Out of 8 contractors:
-6 of them wanted to replace both units (price ranging from $12,530-$22,800),
-1 contractor wanted to replace the one unit and replace the coil on the other unit (price $8,790)
-1 contractor gave me pricing on replacing the unit and repairing the other (price beat all others by thousands) but talked me out of replacing the unit. I was in shock! Ken from Baseline Mechanical explained that a simple repair could fix the unit.
Being a former contractor I know all the tricks in the business and I know when I am being fed a line. Most of the other companies sent sales guys over that were trying to sell me everything from solar panels to air purifiers. With Baseline Mechanical I talked to the owner, he set the prices up front and thats what I ended up paying.
