What a pleasant surprise we found! Our usual hotel in Santa Cruz, which is an ocean view hotel (very expensive), was sold out. So we started looking at other hotels within the same area of the boardwalk. We saw the Coast View Inn & weren't sure if we should try it based on the price. We decided to give it a try ONLY because of the location of the hotel. The staff was very helpful & had great customer service. There is a continental b-fast from 6-10am which provides more than just pastries. The room was completely remodeled, so it was very modern and clean. There is a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, etc. in your room which was a pleasant surprise for the price of the room. My fiance' and I will definitely go back to this hotel with our kids. Because it is located right across from the volleyball courts at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk it would be perfect to let the kids come and go as they want during our stay. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL. GREAT PRICE, LOCATION & CLEAN HOTEL.
