Review content:
I have had long-standing relationships with dealerships in the past, and I have always had positive experiences. My experience at this dealership, however, was the most negative customer service experience I have ever had. The dealer I worked with absolutely turned on me during our second meeting. Although I had not taken up much of his time (about two 20 minute meetings), this dealer became very impatient and agitated with me when I expressed concerns about a botched paint job on a used vehicle. He repeatedly told me that the issues I saw in the paint job simply did not exist even though I showed him the over-spray, rough patches, and paint flecks that came off in my hand. I also had a concern about the engine jumping and jerking. He drove the vehicle to see what I was talking about. His explanation of the jerking? He said that the rear view mirror was loose, and I must have just thought I saw my head bobbing up and down when I caught my reflection in the rear view! This dealer became defensive and combative as soon as the first concern left my mouth, instantly telling me that I was wrong. This dealer told me several times that I was just not ready to buy a car. I cannot help but think that he was implying that I was not mature enough to buy a car. I am 24 years old and a female, and I really feel like this dealer had some preconceived ideas about my intention or ability to navigate the terms of this purchase. Despite my age, I take care to be an informed consumer, and I walked into the dealership that day with $14,000 in cash to put toward my purchase. Unfortunately for Cronic Nissan, I also walked out that day with $14,000.
