Review content:
I gave Scott Clark Toyota a call to discuss a used car I found on their website. Spoke with their Internet Sales Manager about the truck and my trade. I told him that I didn't want to waste my time driving their, being I lived a little ways away, if they were going to give me "wholesale" value on my trade. I didn't want anything crazy dollar amount for it, just the lowest Kelly Blue Book trade-in value amount. He assured me that the price they offer for trades is KBB. He also assured me that he could get close to the deal I had worked out on a Chevy Truck. So I fill my car up with gas and drive down. Checked out the truck...looked good, and they checked out my car. When it came time to talk business they showed me the most they could give me for my car (which is in very good condition); $4000 less than the price that we discussed on the phone. Then we discussed the price for the truck. They wouldn't budge one cent. The manager said that he was going to have a talk with the Internet Sales Manager, but this does nothing for me. So now I'm a little ticked, I wasted my whole evening driving to this dealer, cost me $25 in gas, and all I got out of it was a headache. Moral of the story is: Never trust a Scott Clark Toyota Dealer.....they will tell you anything to get you into the store, and they have no issues with wasting your time and gas money or ripping you off. They are solely interest in making money off you in every way they can. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!
Here's the kicker, the Chevy truck that I had worked out the great deal with very friendly and honest guys at the Chevy Dealer sold while I was at Scott Clark Toyota.
