Went to Strawberry festival in Poteet with visions of strawberry lemonade, pies, fresh strawberries etc. Boy was I depressed when we left without any of the afore mentioned. I did not find 1 strawberry in the whole place. We were charged 15 dollars a person and for what we received it was highway robbery. We could have had more fun at the carnival on Ben White Blvd. in Austin. That is a long drive for nothing. How do these people keep going back. They made a believer out of me and they really broke my daughters heart because she was so excited. This is almost criminal to fleece people like this. Are there really strawberries in Poteet? Maybe we went to the wrong place, but we followed the signs. Maybe it used to have strawberries, but not anymore. I really feel like I was ripped off about 300 dollars for 4 people to go in and just get a drink and eat something and ride 2 rides.
