These guys AVL Moving Systems almost make me want to move again, just so I can hire them again.
Absolutely impeccable service - they called just before arriving, were on time, explained rates & policies clearly & quickly, and were loading up the truck in no time! They packed the truck like a tetris board - no wasted space anywhere, and nearly everything we owned fit (they had previously warned us it might not based on the sheer volume). The entire move, including drive time took less than 2 hours - no breaks, no standing around, nothing like previous movers I've used - they really do run up & down stairs. While carrying 2 50-lb boxes of books at a time.
They also moved a giant love-seat that was already at the new place into a different room & offered to help with any other labor/rearranging while they were there. (I rather wish now that I had taken them up on that offer.)
They were done faster than estimated, adjusted the very reasonable rates accordingly, and went on their way. I hate moving with a passion, and was running on about 2 hours of sleep and dealing with other stressors that morning - these guys (Tommy, Ben, and Tristan) made the day so much more pleasant.
