So bad. I used their website to make a reservation.. My plans changed slightly and I needed to adjust the time. Good thing I called as they had no record of my on-line reservation. Despite two automated emails confirming it. And another email today thanking me for dining there which I did not because I got such horrible service I left. I'm a local in the neighborhood. I hadn't eaten there in years (and when I did it was bad) but I've been watching the updates and improvements and understand they have a new chef/menu. When we arrived we were seated in a back bungalow. The host informed us that there was a screening going on but that it was wrapping up and we could close our curtains or move inside. We decided we wanted the bungalow and would wait out the end of the (extraordinarily loud) movie. We were given dinner and drink menus. About 5-10 mins later a waitress approached our table and took our drink order. She seemed odd in her demeanor at best. After 15 mins with no other person to our table or her return my boyfriend went to inquire. This waitress it seems had no recollection of taking our order then informed us that she wasn't serving tables outside. It was very bizarre. Then she told us we could order food at the bar if we wanted some. So by now it's 9:30. And my boyfriend's BIRTHDAY. Which I mentioned in my on-line reservation which apparently nobody saw. I let the manager/host know we were leaving. I've never left a restaurant before I've eaten before. Sure, I've been to birthday parties at the Bungalow Club but that is, at most, what it should be. A bar. Luckily the brand new establishment next door (Tirovino) was able to seat us so late. The Bungalow Club might want to be careful before they're overrun by superior restaurants.
