So this was my second visit to Casa Sanchez. The first time I went I took my boyfriend to dinner for his birthday. It was new and looked nice so we wanted to try it out. We weren't impressed. I ordered the fajitas and didn't care for them too much. He ordered a steak and didn't like it much either. The pomegranate margarita was good, though. For just the two of us I paid well over $120.00. I promised myself I wouldn't waste my time there again. BUT..... It was my best friend's birthday and we offered to take her to dinner and She chose Casa Sanchez. I was disappointed and tried to talk her out of it, but thought "What the hell, maybe they have changed." We got there and it wasn't full to capacity. We were seated right away and our servers came to acknowledge us immediately. They brought us guacamole and chips about 3 different times because we kept finishing it all. haha! The waiter, Victor, spoke very good english and was very nice and helpful. He came to check up on us plenty of times and practically took over singing my friend the spanish Happy birthday song....LOL. I chose to create my own combination this time and opted for the Chicken enchilada and chicken tamale. Both were very tasty. My boyfriend had the Tapatio chicken and said it was very good as well. Both of the entrees came with a small side of vegetables and they were REALLY good! The mariachis were great as was mentioned in previous reviews, but the only downfall is that you cannot hold an intimate conversation....Then again, if you are going to a restaurant with mariachis then you probably would know that ahead of time.... All in all, the experience was great. Good food, good atmosphere, good service and good music! I'm definitely happy that I gave it a second shot! I'd definitely recommend it to friends! :) Pros: Good music! Excellent service and great drinks! Cons: Might be too loud for some people with sensitive ears :)
