The worst part about these guys is that they come off so well on first impression. Rick is a likable guy who seems like he has his act together, but don't be fooled. We hired them to remodel a bathroom and construct a dormer on our roof. The bathroom came out fine, not great, but passable. Only problem was that we told them we needed it done by July 1 and it wasn't finnished until mid-September. Also, the only way to get these guys to pay attention to detail is to constantly nag and harass. Rick actually came over to fix some of the tile grout they put in and cracked, and then left without completing the job! Every issue that seemed like a no brainer had to be explicitly laid out over and over. To top it off, one Friday I came home from work only to find they had left my backdoor wide open and left a turd in my toilet!! I was disgusted. As for the dormer, Rick assured me (in August) he had submitted all the necessary permitting papers and kept me going for months by saying the permitting board was just slow. Eventually I wised up (in December) and called the board--no papers had been filed and we will now have to start the process over with a new contractor. I have been calling Rick for weeks trying to get our deposit back without any response. We are now commencing litigation to get our money back. Don't trust these guys or you are inviting headaches.
