Review content:
I've done and enormous amount of shopping here (tech geek-iPhone, Xbox, PS3, Update Flat-screen regularly, etc).
While the offerings are good, the warranties are terrible...and, frankly, they'll tell you whatever you want to hear to sell you one then simply don't follow through. It's happened regulary to me (yes, I'm an idiot...but no longer, I swear).
Example: I bought an Xbox 360 there. Was told I should get the warranty to avoid any downtime when it inevitably goes down. The reasoning was, if you use Xbox's warranty, it'll be a long shipping process, but with theirs, it's an exchange that happens the day of.
So, when the Xbox went down and I went it to exchange it...yep...I was told it's 2-4 weeks that I'll be without it as they ship off for repairs. Same as if I didn't bother to pay an extra $80 and went with the Microsoft plan that comes with it anyway.
Just don't bother every buying one. The same thing happened with a phone I purchased. I still have a warranty on my vacuum. I assume if it dies it'll be 6 months till I get another as they have to recreate the pieces by hand and half come from an ancient Mayan temple.
Sorry to be snide, but I hate being lied to or taken advantage of...which is what these programs are set up to do.
