Review content:
The venue: Nicely decorated, in wood and leather; not to big but not small; nice atmosphere. Small lobby, regular sized bar by the entrance. The drinks: The cocktails were well mixed and well presented. I strongly recommend their peach and Champaign ?Martini?.It is a very refreshing and flavorful drink. The Food: The Carpatio was ok. Nicely presented, the meat they use is first class, but the flavor was average; in my opinion, it could use a little bit more spices and some extra virgin olive oil. The filet I had was very good and my wife referred to her NY was good. The presentation is peculiar, as they bring to you the piece of meat all alone in a plate; it looks a little bit odd. The sides are ordered separately, in plentiful helpings. We had the misfortune of ordering the asparagus. The asparagus were well under what I would consider restaurant grade, they were tough and fibrous. On top of that, they grill them. Of course you can not grill asparagus on a high flame grill used to cook meat and expect them to cook through with out turning into a piece of charcoal, so they under-cook them; as a result, they were next to raw when they arrived to our table. We asked the waitress to take them back to the kitchen. When they came back they were burnt. They should seriously consider steaming instead grilling. For desert we had the Cheesecake, it was excellent. Creamy and not too sweet with the right texture and flavor The service The Service was excellent all across, the valet, the receptionist, the manager, the barman, the waitress, and the servers. They all do their best to make you feel welcome; they tend to you diligently and nicely. A final word: Over all, a nice experience, pricey, ($150.00 for 2) but not too expensive; the place has potential. They need to pay attention to the details. It will never be a Five Star restaurant, nor does it have such pretention; however, paying consistent attention to detail would make them a solid 4 star. Pros: Nice ambiance, great service. Cons: Pricey
