Review content:
Whites Road Park has been a favorite in Lansdale for many years. Located right next to the Lansdale pool, it has a convienent spot. A small, quiet brook runs through the park. There is a large hill on one side near the pool which is used for sledding in the winter! The park also has Fitness Link Locations which run near the path throughout the park. They are a bit old at this point but most still offer good fitness exercises.
In the left section of the park is a playground, basketball court, and several tennis courts. Across from them are the picnickiing areas. Those lead down into the sloping hill that is now the spot for community events such as concerts and shows. There is even a proposition underway to build a large bandshell there. Overall, a nice little getaway in the middle of Lansdale.
