I went here to register recently with my husband. We decided to look around first, just to get an idea of the layout of the store and what items we'd like to register for. I'm glad we did. When we went to register the associate that helped us seemed more interested in finishing her conversation with her co-worker about another associate then going into full detail about the registry. We basically got the scanner and were told to point and scan and to be on our merry way. As we were finding items to register for we notice that store up keep was lacking. Floors looked dirty, shelves in a disarray, etc. There weren't that very many customers in the store, so we had no idea who made the mess or if the staff just hadn't tidied up in a few days. I really wanted to see what kind of cribs they had at the location and was shocked when got to that section - it was a disaster! Price tags were missing, cribs falling apart and the area looked to be only half done - some cribs were set up for show while others looked to be discarded. The bassinet section was just as bad, several had broken pieces on them or had been taken apart. I understand that other customers are most likely the culprits but they had three or four associates that the crib counter that I would think would be in charge of their area's up keep. Anyway, it made me really *not* want to buy any nursery furniture from them. And so far I haven't. When it came time to had back our scanner we were told to fill out a form with our information for our registry. The associate did go over their rewards program and gave us a free gift, that was nice, but she failed to inform us that 1) our registry wouldn't show up online for another 24-48 hours (and it actually didn't show up for 72 hours online) and 2) she didn't enter our information correctly - at all. I ended up having to call their customer service line to get things straighten out. Overall I'm giving them a two because they had a registry and they did have items I liked (before going into Babies R Us) but I really wish there were other stores with large amount of items on display for me to see - I prefer shopping in person than online - than just them. If there were I probably would have gone there instead. (I have been to this Baby R Us prior to registering but my time spent inside was minimal - I would grab a present for a shower and headed straight for the check out. So I had never formed a full opinion until I came to register.)
