Review content:
I purchased a brand new Ford Fiesta from Courtesy Ford in Okemos, Michigan. I just happen to live a bit closer to Grand Ledge Ford. Anyway the Fiesta was less than two months old and my 12 year old son who weighs no more than 85 pounds drenched had the rear passenger door handle come right off the car while attempting to get into the back seat. He did nothing unusual and did not beat on the door handle while trying to get in. Took the car to Grand Ledge Ford and told them what happened, did not get much of a reaction from the guy in the service center. He just told me he had to take a couple of pictures and send them into Ford in Dearborn. Took down my info and told me he would give me a call. The following Monday they call and say that the Ford warranty department reviewed the photos and determined that the handle was broken by us from using excessive force, Grand Ledge Ford never told them the story of how it happened and said our only alternative was to pay them to have it repaired. Long story short, they did absolutely nothing to help us, the buyer and customer of a product they sell and service. Took the car back over to Courtesy Ford in Okemos and they are going to make things right for us. Finally someone who is treating the customer like they should be treated.
