I went to Z Salon every 6-7 weeks for many of the past 14 years since we moved here. I went to both of the Hurstbourne/Shelbyville Road locations, driving from La Grange for my appointments. It seemed like a good,albeit expensive, salon for most of the time. But I got really tired of being shuffled to someone else for my cut or color because the stylist or colorist just happened to be gone for the day. Although there seemed to be some employees who were consistent over time, there was a fair amount of turnover. And it seemed very impersonal even after going there for a number of years. I found a much more successful experience at Diva in Crestwood with less travel time.
