Selah really ought to take this concept and replicate it in the District of Columbia. Why? Because I live there. I had the opportunity to get a cut at Selah... I wanted a barber... a quick stop in White Plains... close to where I work. I stumbled across Selah and this hairdresser (barber??) named Alex. After several drinks... I actually found myself having a conversation with the person cutting my hair. Never before. I usually sit and stare at the mirror -- a couple of drinks before a haircut is a crazy... but incredibly thoughtful and oddly appropriate concept. It works... very well. At the end of her work day, Alex doesn't wonder "how was your day"... she asks "did you have fun today?"... that's her job... it is fun. She's detailed... she's as meticulous as you'll find... but don't let that fool you... because she thoroughly enjoys her job. I had fun that day... enjoyed both the drinks and the cut. What a remarkable concept. Pros: Fresh drinks... and... Alex... she does great hair Cons: None
