I have been going to the Cutting Edge for over 10 years and would have to agree that in 2005 the counter staff was rude and bothered rather than friendly and helpful. I complained then and note that now the staff is friendly and helpful.
I think that Turtle311 did get a brand new stylist who may not even be working there anymore. If you select an advanced stylist you will get a wonderful haircut and color process. They also have a calendar full of specials that are offered with 20% off everything on certain days of the month.
I always ask "Does it cost me to blow dry my hair?" anywhere I get hair services done. I always speak out when I want a certain cut and if it's inferior I will tell them to find someone else who can do it the way I would like it done. I now have a great stylist who does a great job anytime I need service. This is a great Salon who trys hard to please everyone.
