Review content:
SO IMPRESSED with this jeweler. We went here for our wedding bands and I cannot say enough nice things about them! I have a friend in Colorado that could get our bands for very cheap, but we were willing to pay a premium to establish a rapport with a local jeweler. We went into Mayfair, looked around, found some comparable rings and explained our situation to them. The owner came out and spoke with us and appreciated our situation and worked with us on a price that fell within our budget (a GREAT price-- I was so impressed he could almost match what my friend could do for us!). They also were able to take an existing ring and fashion me a brand new one in platinum (the one I liked was in white gold), but keep the diamonds and redesign the profile of the new band for me. Honestly, a lot of work, but they were very willing to do it. They also took a look at my engagement ring for me (there were some things that I wanted to change and my fiance and I weren't impressed with the other local jeweler that he used). I wanted them to file down the prongs, and they discovered that my diamond was loose. The jeweler who was doing the work on my rings came out and spoke to me and told me that when I called in the future to ask for him and only speak to him directly (I felt SO taken care of!). I went in a couple of more times and he remembered my name and face everytime. We must have gone over the work that he was doing for both my rings four times so that we were both sure that he'd get it right. In the end, he had my engagement ring for less than a day! He filed the prongs down, tightened the stone, sized the ring down (it was still too big) and polished my engagement ring FOR FREE. Granted, yes, we were paying for the wedding bands, but I'm still floored that he did all that work on a ring that they didn't even sell me for free (THAT'S customer service!). He showed me the wax mold for my new wedding band and we discussed the look and the size/feel. It was perfect. I can't WAIT to pick it up! I will be going to Mayfair for A
