Review content:
My name is Keith Bailey, the owner of Sun Comfort Inc, and I am writing this in response to Mike Moriarty's review. We did install linoleum flooring into Mr. Moriarty's kitchen mid-June 2009. Upon completion, Mr. Moriarty seemed very satisfied; however, five months later he contacted me to make me aware of air-pockets that had formed. I immediately contacted the company where I purchased the flooring, ESC and was told that nothing could be done until after the holidays. Mr. Moriarty agreed to wait until then. By mid-Jan, Mr. Moriarty and I were both calling the ESC. We were both told that a rep from the manufacturer would have to inspect the job. Neither the manufacturer nor ESC ever got back to Mr. Moriarty or me, so the matter was transferred to a different employee at ESC. Without ever going to the home to inspect the flooring, he told Mr. Moriarty that Sun Comfort Inc. did not roll the linoleum causing the air-pockets to form. Even though we had rolled the linoleum, I sent a crew of three men to take up and re-glue the entire floor. The Moriarty’s were told that the crew would be back in 36 hours to check the floor again. When we returned no one was home and when I didn’t hear from them I assumed everything was to their approval. Sun Comfort is truly sorry that the Moriarty’s were not fully satisfied. In an attempt to resolve the issue, Sun Comfort Inc reimbursed Mr. Moriarty for the entire cost of the materials even though the warranty was supposed to be upheld by the flooring company itself.
