Review content:
Located a few miles outside of Chattanooga, Cumberland Caverns is the state's largest show cave, displaying some of the largest underground rooms in eastern America. In addition to waterfalls, gleaming pools and spectacular formations, it even sports a 3/4 ton "chandelier." The historic 1812 saltpeter mine is featured on every tour, as well as "God of the Mountain," an original underground pageant of light and sound. Bring your walking shoes and camera for this one and a half hour tour.
Hours: Daily tours begin at the top of every hour from 9 am to 5 pm, seven days a week from May 1 - October 31
Admission: Adults $12.50; Children (6-12) $7.50; Ages 5 and younger free.
