Review content:
Decided to go to Gunderson's based on AAA recommendation. One ordered crab cakes with salad, one ordered fish and chips and one ordered a hamburger with chips. It was a Monday in August, after 2 pm, place half empty and we waited at least 45 minutes for our order. The food seemed overpriced for what we got. We ate at Blackfish Cafe in Lincoln City the night before and very similar items on the menu were about the same or less there and of far higher quality. The hamburger was well prepared but lacked salt; the bun was toasted too hard and made it difficult to chew. The salad with the crab cakes was unwieldy to eat. The cod in the fish and chips was nicely done but the fries were were lukewarm and the coleslaw was flavorless.
Pros: great location
Cons: very slow service, food okay, overpriced by about $2 a dish
