Having heard great things over the years, I made a special trip to La Petite Coquette to find a gift for a friend who is getting married. I must not fall into their target demographic of size 0-2 model/actress because the staff seemed reluctant to even let me in the door, although they clearly saw me through the window and heard me press the buzzer several times. My experience quickly went downhill from there. The staff treated me like I was an alien, and despite what others have said about her, I found the owner to be completely crass, obnoxious, lacking in class, and downright RUDE. Needless to say, I was there for less than 2 minutes, which is how long it took me to decide not to spend my money at an establishment that clearly doesn't want my business.
