El Jarro is my favorite Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant in San Antonio, and one of my all-time favorites anywhere: I can honestly state that I have never had a bad meal here.Though in a strip center, the decor is quite attractive; service is generally very good; food is excellent. The lunch buffet is a really good deal - and the regular menu prices are very fair, I think, for what you get. My only complaints - and they are very mild ones - are parking (a nightmare when the restaurant is busy)....and sometimes the cheese enchiladas are bland, due to an insufficiency of onion. Otherwise, El Jarro is perfect!
