Review content:
Something is terribly wrong in this store but I don't know what it is. They seem to hate customers and the mangement seems to think that's O.K. The shoes are good but in the women's department the customer service is beyond terrible. I'm looking at these ratings because I've had a couple of terrible experiences and I do not want to go back. On my last trip, the clerk in the women's department was rude and hostile. She was ignorant about the stock and was either too stupid or lazy to understand what I wanted to buy. She was verbally abusive. She mocked me to the other sales clerks within my hearing. As others have described, she became actively hostile when I tried to help myself, - e.g. telling me I had to make up my mind what I wanted , that I can't take things out or try them on, and she followed me around watching me like a hawk to make sure that I did not separate the tie between the two shoes so that I could try to take full steps while I walked in them. She then removed the three pairs of shoes that I had put aside to buy because I was "making a mess." It was a truly unbelievable experience and needless to say I want to find another place to buy shoes.
