I have stayed at a few different locations in the Mammoth Lakes area for snowboarding trips. Juniper Springs is the best place to stay and enjoy the close proximity to the lift. There are other options to stay slopeside, but Juniper Springs is much nicer and cleaner than the rest. If you want something that resembles home, stay at Juniper. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The provided "oncall" driver is very pleasant and will help with any suggestions on restaurants or anything else you may be in need of.
