Superb experience. We made a 3-day trip up, stayed friday and saturday night. We were in room 301 with the whirlpool tubs. The room was in great condition. Good amount of space for our snow gear, and a heater on a side wall panel that was convenient to dry off our snow gear overnight. Bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on at a hotel. They were the ones that let you customize how firm or soft the bed is on each side. My side was broken, but the bed still felt great. It felt new. Nice and quiet, couldn't hear anybody else except when a few people stomped up and down the stairs right outside. Most people took the elevator. Great view of the city and lake tahoe. Walking distance to restaurants and a few shops. The bathroom looked newly renovated, the flooring and wall panels in the shower / tub were a beautiful rock tile. The tub whirlpool jets were a little loud, but we could still talk. It was a great way to relax our muscles after a full day up at Squaw. Downside was that the room didn't have a fan to blow moisture out, so you have to keep the window open. Not a big deal. Breakfast was great. Waffles, toast, french toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, apples, coffee, tea, apple / orange juice, pastries.. I'm sure I missed a few things. There was a lady in the room the entire time who was cleaning up the tables, making sure everything was perfectly clean and stocked for the next people to come in. 7am - 10am. Early enough so you can eat and get to the hill before the crowds. There are two parking areas. While up top is for SUV's and larger vehicles, the underground parking fits an additional 6-7 smaller passenger vehicles. They ask you to park there if you have a smaller vehicle. It snowed about a foot saturday night, and we had a hard time getting out the following morning. However by 8:20am they had the snow removed, and were salting the ramp. It still wasn't enough for us to get out even with our chains on, but they asked a person to move from his parking spot right in front of the r
