Review content:
I went to Christine's for a half day of beauty (massage, facial and mani/pedi). I was very impressed with the facial I received from Lana. She was very friendly and made the facial very relaxing. The massage had to be the worst I ever had in my life (with Nuala). I get massages at least once a month and this was terrible. It felt more like a rub down than a massage. The therapist asked where my trouble areas were and then proceeded not to focus on them. I felt more tense than before I got it...there were no techniques. It seemed she was very inexperienced. I moved on to a pedicure (Jackie). It was nothing but a 30 second Salt scrub with polish. She pushed back the cuticles and that was it. No scrubbing of the bottom of my foot. I felt like I could have done the same thing at home (definitely not worth $56). I had been to Christines in the past and was always impressed by how friendly and professional everyone was but this visit on a busy Saturday was very disappointing, enough to never go back there again. I wrote to management over a week ago and still no response. Christine's is a little cheaper than most spas and I think it shows in their "light" services. If you like to get massages and quality pedicures, I would go elsewhere.
Pros: facials, friendly staff
Cons: poor massage and pedicures
